Atlas the Trucker Dog
Atlas was one of eight puppies being sold from a cardboard box in front of a fast food restaurant. Twenty-year-old Joseph, with a girl on his arm and money in his pocket, bought the cutest one - Atlas! For two years, a young Joseph raised his puppy, who grew to be his best friend. GiGi, OTR Driver
Trucker GiGi is a company driver and a driver trainer. That means she rides with new drivers for a few weeks, after they attend trucking school. A trainer helps new drivers learn the rules of the road under the watchful eyes of an experienced driver. GiGi has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation industry. She worked in nursing before becoming an over the road trucker. GiGi was born in Jamaica and moved to the United States with her family as a child. She has one adult son.
Grandma and Trucker Joe
Grandma and Trucker Joe have been married for more than 28 years. Before he earned his commercial drivers license, Trucker Joe was G.I. Joe, a sergeant in the U.S. Army. Grandma, whose name is Mary, raised three boys while "holding down the fort" at home, during deployments. She ran an accredited home daycare and worked in public relations and journalism before joining Trucker Joe OTR. She is a proud sixth generation Floridian from Gadsden County, Florida.
